Our full-time Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Manager is continually in the field conducting worker and equipment evaluations, competency and performance ability. Our company endorses the continued education of our team and is constantly improving with the industry that results in a win-win for our client and team.
Our group takes responsibility for our own safety and for those around us, both at work and at home. We recognize and correct any potential hazards by following and implementing safety procedures and protocols set forth by our team of safety professionals and with the help of well-recognized safety platforms such as Alberta’s Certificate of Recognition Program.

Sword Transport has a combined 100+ years diverse experience in multiple industries including but not limited to oil and gas, power and utility, heavy industrial and commercial sectors. We are a local, family-owned small business with old fashion values and a desire to operate and innovate our company as a large corporation would, never compromising who we are or the services we deliver.
The company was founded by Darrell Williams, Dad, and he has been working since it’s inception instilling the old fashioned values of hard work, building relationships and taking care of people first into his sons who have joined him in the business.
Using their experiential knowledge, his older sons, Darryl and Sandy Williams, have developed a variety of processes and techniques to ensure Sword Transport is operating in the safest and most effective environment. They are directly involved in developing and implementing FCH’s Health, Safety & Environmental Policies and Quality Management Systems.
Their younger brother, Kody Williams, is known for his ability to “keep the iron on the road” through attention to detail, skilled maintenance of all of our units and unmatched work ethic. Kody and his team are the reason we are able to fulfill our promise to our clients and put the “wheels on wagons” so to speak.
Growing up in northern Alberta gives the family a unique appreciation for the people, the land and the work that they do each day and is a major reason why they are so active in their local communities. Everything from 4H, Rodeo Sponsorship, sponsoring a memorial fishing tournament in the name of their late Uncle, and volunteering at their local fire hall, these boys give a damn and are giving back in many more ways than just financial.
